1. Everyone Belongs
We welcome dancers of all backgrounds, identities, body types, and experience levels. Whoever you are — you belong here.

Respect begins with presence. Listen with intention, observe with empathy, and honor each person’s individuality.

We aim to cultivate a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and free to express their authentic self.

2. Consent Is Key
Never assume — always ask before inviting someone to dance or engaging in close contact.

“No” is a full sentence. It never needs to be explained, justified, or negotiated.

Pay attention to verbal and nonverbal cues. Creating comfort is a shared responsibility — not just physical, but emotional and energetic too.

3. Dance with Care
Prioritize safety — yours and others’. Be aware of your space, movement, and how it affects those around you.

Avoid risky dips, lifts, or forceful movements unless fully consensual, mutually practiced, and safely executed.

If something feels uncomfortable — check in. A moment of care can build lasting trust.

4. Growth Over Perfection
Feedback should always be invited, and given with kindness and respect.

Celebrate different learning styles, movement interpretations, and cultural roots. Dance is not about uniformity — it’s about collective expression.

Mistakes are part of the process. Progress happens when we support, not shame.

5. Boundaries Are Sacred
Unwanted touching, sexual comments, or persistent advances — in person or online — will not be tolerated.

Repeated flirting, intrusive behavior, or disregarding someone’s boundaries is inappropriate and violates our values.

If you experience or witness a boundary being crossed, talk to a Cambio team member. Every concern is valid and will be taken seriously.

6. We Are a Community
Support each other — especially those who are new, shy, or finding their rhythm.

Respect our space and tools — treat the studio, the dance floor, and each other with care.

At parties, festivals, workshops, or online — you represent Cambio. Lead with integrity, compassion, and pride.

7. Accountability with Compassion
These values apply to everyone: dancers, instructors, staff, and guests alike.

For minor concerns, we encourage open and respectful dialogue. We’re all here to grow.

For serious or repeated issues, contact a team member immediately. We are committed to action and community well-being.

8. Your Voice Matters
We believe feedback is a gift. Your ideas, experiences, and insights help us evolve and stay aligned with our purpose.
